Most Helpful Positive Review The Ultimate in technical Whitewater
With the Stompbox and removable fin system, you can take this board on shallow rivers and expand your season from March until late Nov. This board is great for the Ladies. It turns on a dime and stomps large waves and holes. It is also very stable and good for new bees. I won every Vail town series Sup Cross event on this board 2017. The Atcha 8'6 makes for a fun Sup Yoga board as well.

Best whitewater board!

by Rivermonster, from CO, United States Written on August 19, 2019
This board is the standard by which all other whitewater boards are measured.

It is nimble, playful, responsive, burly, and an unbelievably smooth ride. You will find yourself able to step your whitewater game up when you step onto this board.

Yep, it's expensive, because it's made out of the same stuff commercial rafts are, except WAY better reinforced, and it has a huge surface of soft, nubby decking that lets you do your fancy footwork on the waves. It also has the Stomp Box, which is a retractable fin that really allows you to find whatever the best line is, even if there's a rock under the surface!

Love the travel bag, mostly I use it as a storage bag.

Also really love the graphics.

Comes with a repair kit, but more importantly, comes with a 3 year warranty.

Powerful Board in a Compact Package

by Adi, from NY, United States Written on October 11, 2018
The Atcha 8’6” is one of my favorite go to boards every season as it is small and easy to handle (and load on a car) but wide enough that you feel super stable and can even carry a second person or dog for flat water journeys. Great for everything from technical whitewater to flat water yoga sessions this is a great option for anyone looking for a compact all arounder.

Great for down river and surfing

by AJ, from CO, United States Written on September 30, 2018
This sporty little board is awesome for whitewater and surfing. It’s surprisingly stable for its length but also super maneuverable. The “core” construction is really tough and the retractable fin works well in shallow creeks and rivers.

Stable, yet nimble!!

by Nadia, from CO, United States Written on September 26, 2018
The Atcha 86 is a great board for downriver and river surfing! Its been perfect for exploring whitewater in the PNW! I can catch waves on the fly or paddle fast to get away from a nasty river feature. Its nimble, yet stable and my go to board every time I get on the river! Love this board! I’ve even taken it out on the ocean and caught a few waist high waves with it. The stomp-box retractable fin, the rocker, the toughness, and rigidity make it the best board I've owned.

  • stable

Packed full of FUN and STOKE!

by Buckley, from CO, United States Written on March 28, 2018
There have been multiple times on this board when I have found myself giggling my way down the river! It's such a pleasure to paddle, I begin to smile as soon as I step on it. As I paddle down the river the board seems to know what I'm thinking and my thoughts become actions almost before I realize it. The Atcha86 is so intuitive and easy to maneuver that it always feels in tune with my paddling. As soon as I find myself thinking about catching a wave, I'm on it. Standing on the Atcha86 in the middle of the river, grinning from ear to ear.

  • Super fun times

This Board Quickly Turned into my Fav in my Quiver

by Cami, from CO, United States Written on September 15, 2017
I love this board because I can spice up my usual river runs with it. I am a 140 lb female paddler, and I value being able to zip around quickly in a river. I love to make my runs more technical and surf small waves.
The shape of this year's Atcha makes a huge difference in its ability to turn on a dime! The rocker and stringer are solid! I have taken this board out on flat water and had a blast whipping it around in pivot turns as well as doing yoga moves on it.

Awesome handling!

Stable yet easy to turn on a dime. The Stompbox is a must on the river.it saved me from flying in the first rapid I did with this board. The Atcha 86 is the perfect size for a 165lbs paddler. I hesitated a while because of the price but it is worth every penny.
