The name C.A.M.P. is an acronym that stands for "Construzione Articoli Montagna Premana." Translation: Articles for Mountaineering Made in Premana. Premana is a small mountain village situated in the pre-Alps just shy of the Swiss border. Nicola Codega started manufacturing mountaineering equipment in Premana in 1889 and the company still calls Premana home. In short, C.A.M.P. stands for history, innovation, quality and absolute dedication to the mountain lifestyle.
